AO1 Community

Audience of One — a safe, non-competitive place to pray, reflect, and grow together.

The Prayer Wall. No likes, no follower counts — “carrying this” instead.

AO1 stands for Audience of One — the conviction that we live, worship, and create for One first. AO1 Community is a faith-based platform being built around exactly that.

It’s designed to be a safe, non-competitive space where believers can pray, worship, reflect, and grow together. No like counts, no follower races, no performance — your analytics stay private, so it’s about growth instead of comparison.

At its heart is the Prayer Wall: share a request, let others mark “I prayed,” watch answered prayers get celebrated, and gather in audio-only Prayer Circles when words need a voice.

Around it sits a private journal for your walk with God — room to reflect, highlight Scripture, and even notice how your heart is doing over time. Plus communities you can start or join, one-on-one and group messaging, and a profile where your testimony has a home.

It’s being built with accessibility baked in — high-contrast mode, text-to-speech, and translations — so there’s a seat for everyone. AO1 Community is in active development right now.

For anyone sizing up the build

What this one actually took

  • 01

It ships on iPhone, iPad, Mac and the web from one codebase, and it’s live on the App Store today.

  • 02

There are no likes and no follower counts anywhere in it. That was a design decision, not an omission — the moment you add a counter you change what people post.

  • 03

Apple rejected the first build over its sign-in flow; the fix, resubmission and approval were all handled in-house, which is the part most people underestimate about shipping an app.

  • 04

Prayer requests translate on demand, with the original language preserved and labelled rather than silently replaced.
